Stock Availability Stock Availability is not guaranteed. Stock is reserved once full
payment has been made. Sample policy EpiCtee’s sample policy is as follows:
Samples can be acquired from us should they be required.
Samples with a per-item cost of less than R30 excl. VAT are not eligible for credit.
Returns on memory sticks will not be accepted.
To be eligible for a refund or credit, all samples must be sent back in their original
state.
The sample will not be accepted for a refund or credit if it has any damage to it or its
packing.
Before a credit note is granted and a refund is processed, the original invoice must be
included with the returned samples.
All refunds will be made to the appropriate customer's bank account via EFT.
Before being picked up or sent from our branch, all sample orders must be fully paid
for.
Branding
EpiCtee cannot take responsibility for non-delivery of orders if layout approval and
payment is not received.
Branding will only commence the day after artwork has been approved and full payment has
been received.
Delivery lead-times take effect the day following the receipt of complete payment and
acceptance of the artwork.
Amendments made to layouts will result in a delay to delivery date. Should you require
changes we will issue a new layout for final proofing before production commences.
By submitting an order to EpiCtee, you certify that you are authorized to order, buy,
and/or distribute merchandise containing the names, trademarks, logos, copyrights,
and other identifying marks that you have identified and/or submitted with your order.
Additionally, you agree to hold EpiCtee, its affiliates, and representatives harmless
from and against any and all claims, liabilities, and costs (including legal fees)
resulting from or connected to an actual or alleged infringement or misappropriation of
any trademark, copyright, or other proprietary right of such goods. After your order is
delivered, this clause will still be in force.
Packaging of branded items
Products may not be repackaged into their individual packaging after being branded.
Tips to help you prepare for your artwork
To prevent font substitutions, all fonts must be converted into curves.
Please provide the font and size, if typesetting is desired.
Artwork for multi-colour imprints should be supplied as a colour separated file (digital
printing is an exception).
Word files,.gif files, JPEGs (under 600 dpi), and Power Point are not acceptable file
types.
Please provide the electronic artwork to the respective account manager.
Upon written approval of layouts, please confirm with your account manager that they
have received your signoff.
If layout approval is not given, EpiCtee is not liable for orders that are not
delivered.
Branding will only commence once full payment for stock and branding has been received
and the artwork has been approved.
If payment has not been confirmed with your Account Manager, EpiCtee cannot be held
liable for missing deadlines.
Please send an email proof of payment to accounts@epictee.co.za for
fast order clearing.
Delivery times are estimated as of the day after payment acceptance and artwork
approval, whichever comes first.
The delivery date will be delayed as a result of changes made to the proofs. If you
require changes, we will send you a fresh layout for final approval before to
production.
Artwork Fees
No charges will apply to correctly formatted submissions.
Artwork received in an incorrect format will attract a redrawing fee of R300 incl vat.
This will accommodate two changes, thereafter additional changes will be charged at R150
incl vat per change.
If there is not artwork, we will provide a quotation per item.
If branding is canceled after layouts have already been generated, a fee of R450
excluding VAT will be applied for each layout that was created.
General
Once EpiCtee has collected or delivered the stock, we relinquish control over it.
Consequently, we cannot assume responsibility for any damages or shortages that are not
reported within 48 hours.
Although we have diligently strived to process all orders accurately, if you opt to
brand your order with a different company, we strongly recommend inspecting all items
received before proceeding with branding. EpiCtee will not authorize returns for
incorrectly branded items, irrespective of whether the error is attributable to EpiCtee
or not.
We will not be able to process returns for memory sticks, food items, and personal care
or pamper products.
EpiCtee is unable to authorize returns for items that have been incorrectly branded,
irrespective of whether the fault lies with EpiCtee or not.
The thorough inspection of returned stock may require up to one week, and once we are
certain that the items are in suitable condition for resale, we will process the refund
or issue a credit note.
For stock shipped via courier to regions beyond Johannesburg, such as Durban or Cape
Town, customers have a 72-hour window from the moment the courier collects the items to
report any missing or damaged products. No claims will be considered after this time
frame.
After collection, we regretfully cannot accommodate returns for memory stick orders.
Returns are not accepted for discontinued and clearance items.
Additionally, orders involving items that require assembly or consolidation, such as
GF-AM-650-B and set items, cannot be changed or returned.
The ETA (estimated time of arrival) dates specified for stock are subject to frequent
updates, yet they cannot be guaranteed due to unforeseen delays stemming from suppliers,
shipping, or customs.
The first day of branding commences after receiving both artwork approval and payment.
Please note that lead times do not include weekends, South African public holidays, and
EpiCtee's annual shutdown period.
As per public health regulations, specific essential items cannot be returned or
exchanged due to stringent health measures in place.
Please be aware that the actual product colors may exhibit slight variations from the
colors depicted in the catalog and on the website. We recommend requesting a sample for
precise color verification.
All product dimensions are specified in centimeters, and there might be minor variations
from the provided measurements.
Differences between product images and the real products can occur because of inherent
constraints in photography, film separation, and printing.
While we have made every effort to maintain the accuracy of the information in our
catalogs and on our website, the sheer volume of data may lead to occasional errors. If
you have any queries or uncertainties concerning information or products, we encourage
you to contact us or request a sample for verification before proceeding with your
order. We cannot be held responsible for any errors or expenses resulting from
inaccurate information displayed in the catalogues or on the website.
The artwork designs and trademarks shown on the displayed products are provided solely
as illustrations of the quality of branded products available. These depictions do not
imply that the products are endorsed by or created for the owners of the artwork,
design, or trademark.
Payment
We do not permit cash payments.
We only allow card payments via our website and EFTs to our respective bank accounts.
We strongly recommend making online payments through our payment portal. To release
stock, we require proof of payment that reflects in our bank account. Please ensure that
you make payment to the correct bank account to avoid any delays in processing your
order. Payments from foreign countries may take between 4 to 7 working days to clear,
and we will release orders once payment has been successfully processed.
We require full payment of all orders before production.
Orders collected by courier
All orders will be couriered by our trusted couriers, however, should you wish arrange
you own courier, you are welcome to do so. Please confirm details your account manager
so that we make the necessary arrangement with the warehouse.
Please do not sent your couriers to collect until you have received a ready for
collection notification from us.
Please ensure that your courier knows who they are collecting for and how many orders
they are collecting. We will provide the sales order numbers of the items they will be
collecting.
Cancellation Policy
Written and online orders constitute a binding contract and are legally enforceable.
Once an order has been emailed or placed online, and picked by our warehouse,
cancellation prior to collection will be subject to a 15% handling admin fee.
Collected orders may not be returned for credit unless approved in writing by Management
within 48 hours of collection, subject to a 25% handling and admin fee. Please do not
return orders without prior written consent from Management. Orders returned without
accompanying written consent and corresponding invoice will not be accepted by our
returns department.
Once stock of an item that is on special or "reduced to clear" has been collected no
returns will be accepted, unless said stock is faulty.
Delivery services
EpiCtee will not be held accountable if the specified delivery times are not met,
whether due to circumstances related to EpiCtee or the chosen delivery service.
The first day of the delivery lead-time begins on the day after the products have left
EpiCtee.
Delivery lead times are contingent on factors such as consignment weight, the chosen
service, and the destination.
Delivery is expected to be completed by 5 pm on the specified delivery date.
Due to the presence of lithium batteries in power banks, they cannot be shipped
overnight to locations where the overnight service necessitates airfreight.
Please note that the time required for branding is separate from the time needed for
delivery.
Once the order(s) are placed on a collection shelf, delivery cannot be canceled.
Please note
In case of any delays caused by the couriers services, you will receive an email
notification.
It's important to note that EpiCtee cannot be held liable for such delays.
Please refrain from attempting to collect an order until you've received the email
notification indicating that your order is prepared for collection.
Display terms and conditions
It is the client's obligation to ensure that the hardware is in good condition if they
are reskinning it themselves. EpiCtee is not responsible for purchased skins that
are ill-fitting due to defective or broken hardware.
The customer must make sure they order the right skin for the right display unit.
Reskinning is specifically designed to fit our display hardware. We cannot be held
liable for any skins that are bought to fit third-party hardware.
All artwork must be prepared in CMYK, and Pantone colours must be included in the print
file as a Pantone solid coated spot. Please be aware that if you don't do this, there
won't be any colour matching.
Not all Pantone colours can be achieved due to the constrained colour gamut of various
digital CMYK print techniques. We try to match colours as closely as we can, however
there may be some colour fluctuation between different materials, such as PVC versus
fabric.
Pantones in fluorescent and shiny hues are incomparable. It's only possible to achieve a
tonal depiction of it.
Digital dye sublimation is not intended for continuous, extended exposure to sunlight.
The print's lifetime will be shortened by excessive sun exposure.
We advise you to protect the display fabric by keeping it out of direct sunlight
whenever possible.
EpiCtee offers a 3-month limited print fading warranty on display fabrics.
Display repair policy
EpiCtee offers a 3-year limited mechanical repair guarantee on display hardware.
The warranty excludes display hardware that has been mishandled, misused, or not used
for its intended purpose.
Any warranty-covered display equipment that needs to be repaired must be shipped back to
our warehouse at the client's expense. Include any and all broken or damaged components.
Workwear terms and conditions
Workwear product production only starts after receiving an order and complete payment.
Once a sales order has been generated, it cannot be altered or cancelled.
The industry standard, which mandates that the set's pants be two sizes smaller than the
jacket, is followed while selling Conti suits. Therefore, Conti suit sets will be
offered according to the jacket size; for instance, if you order a size 34, the jacket
will be that size and the pants will be that size.
As sets will always be sold as per the above, kindly make sure that sizing has been
determined accurately before placing an order with us.
Since these items are not ex-stock, we will not accept any returns on "unbranded
or branded" clothing that has had tape professionally applied. Only easily available and
in-stock pieces of workwear will be accepted for return.
Privacy Policy
EpiCtee uses both first-party and third-party cookies and identifiers in conjunction
with the Google Analytics Advertising Features.
Through the Ads settings, the Ad settings for mobile apps, or any other available
method, you can choose not to participate in the Google Analytics Advertising Features
that EpiCtee utilizes.
